Farringdon

Farringdon Station is in the Borough of Holborn and officially East London. A very busy area with modern high rise blocks of flats and offices, Farringdon is quite an exciting town to just wander around. The infamous Smithfields Market is just round the corner. It takes up almost an entire road.

Euston Square

Euston Square Station is within walking distance of  Euston Railway Station. On my trip there, all I could see were tons of people pulling along their small luggage on wheels going about their business. They were either going on business trips or their way home. Not many tourists around this area. I was stopped by 2 young girls claiming to have come from South America, with no money,  no home, hungry, looking pitiful. After brushing them off, I kept an eye on them. They seemed to have picked up energy, laughing and chatting.

Great Portland Street

A rather upmarket part of Central London with high rise modern buildings mixed with old architectural ones give Great Portland Street a unique character. Within walking distance across the road from the station is Regent's Park. This park is so massive it would take a day or maybe more to finish walking round. I went to the flower section and walked along the line of fountains. This park is very well kept and is popular with tourists as well as Londoners.

Baker Street

Wow! Onwards into Central London is always exciting. Tourists galore as attractions such as Madam Tussauds, Sherlock Holmes Museum and Regent's Park tend to create congregations. The London City Tour buses also have their starting point here. I love hanging out here just walking around aimlessly and mingling with the tourists. I have just found out that Regent's Park is actually a few minutes from Baker Street station by following the stream of tourists.

Finchley Road

Going into North London, Finchley Road is in the Borough of Camden. It is next to the O2 shopping Centre. There is quite a buzz here with tons of quality shops on both sides of the main road. Great day out for shopping.

Wembley Park

Wembley Park is the home of Wembley Stadium thus making it a busy station. On Sundays, there is the infamous Sunday Market in the stadium's car park.
