I am now venturing on the Victoria Line starting with Pimlico, a rather posh residential area.in Central London. With garden squares, Regency architecture and River Thames within walking distance, Pimlico is a popular place to live.

Dagenham East
My last stop on the District Line for this blog is Dagenham East on my way back from visiting Romford town and the market. Nothing spectacular about this little town.
Becontree
Becontree is another residential town in the Borough of Barking and Dagenham. With only a small selection of retailers on the main street. The underground station is about a mile away from the town.
Upney
Upney is situated in Borough of Barking on the District Line. It is aresidential area with just a very small shopping parade on the main road.

Elm Park
Elm Park is a very small town within easy access to larger towns like Romford and Hornchurch. Bus services are efficient.
Hornchurch
Hornchurch is an suburban town in East London, in the London Borough of Havering. It comprises a number of shopping streets and a large residential area.
Upminster Bridge
Upminster Bridge is on Upminster Road in the neighbourhood of the London Borough of Havering in northeast London. It is a very small town with only a few shops on the main road.
Upminster
Upminster is the final stop on the District Line eastbound. I decided to start from the other end to finish my District Line journey. It is situated in East London in the Borough of Havering. It is a large town with shops, schools, churches, library and a recreation park.
