Stamford Brook
Stamford Brook is a very small town situated between Hammersmith and Chiswick within walking distance from Chiswick High Road.
Ravenscourt Park
As the name suggests, Ravenscourt Park is an actual park across from the underground station. Within the vicinity is also a family run garden centre. Furnivall Gardens is across the highway. From there the river side walk starts towards Hammersmith Bridge.

Richmond
The final stop on the District Line heading south is Richmond, a bustling town with traffic and pedestrians, shoppers all bringing life to this affluent part of South London. It boasts several parks and open spaces, the notable one being Richmond Park.
Kew Gardens
Kew Gardens is one of the most famous tourist attractions in London. The village has a lot of character with leafy side roads and individual retailers. On the first Sunday of each month the streets are closed to traffic to hold a market organised by the community.
Gunnersbury
Continuing on the District Line towards the south, my next stop is Gunnersbury with a Park and Nature Reserve within walking distance. The station itself is situated below Chiswick Tower.
