Aldgate
Aldgate is the last stop on the Metropolitan Line going east. A city with high rise office buildings are in abundance. Not sure if I would like to work in any of these glass buildings. Not many shops to wander around.
Liverpool Street
Moorgate
Moorgate situated in the City of London is home of investment banks. The day I was there was a weekday so there were people dressed in business suits rushing around. Not the place to do your shopping that's for sure.

Barbican
I walked here from Farringdon. The trend of high rise buildings continues here. The most famous landmark is Barbican Centre that boasts 4 storeys of performing arts. There is also a conservatory with tropical plants inside the centre and a relaxing lounge for anyone who wants some peace and quite to just chill. I found just walking around the grounds of Barbican Centre was rather relaxing. Despite being so near the town centre and main roads it was surprisingly peaceful and quiet.
